Evil

I was watching a crime show on TV the other day and one of the characters made an interesting comment about criminal behavior.  He said, “There is also evil in this world.  Even armed with all our science and degrees it remains impenetrable. Perhaps because its depths are unfathomable.”  Jeremiah concurs when he says, "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" (17:9).  Let us not forget what is inside of us so that we may look to Him who died for us and that He may save us from ourselves.
